Credit Suisse Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager # 106905 in Wroclaw, Poland

This is a Business Analyst role to work within the Finance Change group with a focus on Product Control related projects. The overarching objective is to define consistent processes and introduce critical core technology components which will transform the way Global Product Control can work, allowing a consistent and scalable business process. The global implementation provides both technology and process change across Global Product Control.

The objective of the PC projects is to define a target end state to ensure a consistent process for Product Control activities and the implementation of technology to support this vision.

  • The key focus of the PC Process Maintain the Bank program is to address Audit, Regulatory and Mandatory deliverables across Core and Legacy PC applications.

  • Where FC and IT teams are not working on audit, regulatory or mandatory items the focus is also to prioritize Cost Reduction, Innovation, and Strategy & Analysis initiatives to also help reduce cost and leverage innovative technology in line with the overall PC Strategy.

The Role involves:

  • Input into Business Requirements Document (BRD) for all releases by working closely with product controllers to understand and document their requirements. Consider alternative options or solutions to meet the business requirements

  • Partner with IT to complete the Functional Requirements Document (FRD), including issue resolution

  • Raise issues or risks in a timely manner and track internal and external dependencies while escalating items at risk when necessary

  • Complete and deliver monthly updates to Senior Management on the progress of current projects

  • Assist in putting together presentation decks for Operating and Steering Committee Meetings

  • Collaborate with IT teams to interpret business requirements

  • Facilitate user engagement through training, info sessions, and one on one’s with users

  • Develop/Review test cases/scripts with Test Manager

  • Ensure Functional Testing scripts correspond to signed-off functional requirements.

  • Ensure UAT test scripts are relevant to business process and requirements

  • Review testing materials (test plan, test strategy and test scripts)

  • Perform functional testing and analyze defects in collaboration with IT teams

  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Conduct working group meetings with users, IT teams and other project teams

  • Build and maintain good relationships with key Product Control and IT at a working level

  • Ensure that delivery occurs on plan, is of high quality and matches expectations through measurable goals.

  • Recommend, develop and implement process improvements and controls

  • You have 2 years of experience in either or a combination of the following: Consulting Services industry, Audit & Advisory services industry or Financial Services industry

  • You present strong analytical skills and ability to define and apply logical approach to issue resolution

  • You demonstrate outstanding communication skills at all levels and you are proficient English user - you will be communicate to different stakeholders and partners

  • You are familiar with BI concepts and tools

  • You are proficient MS Excel user
