Develop EDI Integrations using IBM Sterling Integrator.
Monitor and resolve application related incident tickets and general user service requests
Resolve or escalate incidents to the appropriate user or team within the specified SLA and in compliance with established standard operating procedures
Work with application technical and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve issues affecting overall application system performance
Interact directly with both internal and external clients and trading partners through user requests and queries from email and incident tickets
Implement new B2B/EDI trading partner integrations
Participate in a continuous improvement process to reduce ticket volumes and improve overall production support service and efficiency by identifying recurring or potential issues & recommending solutions
Create and maintain relevant technical and production support documentation
Provide on-call support, on a rotational basis, including non-traditional hours as needed
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
3 years development and support experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, version 5.0 or higher
Nice to have
L1-L2 production support experience resolving B2B/EDI related incidents and requests via a ticketing tool and system monitoring alerts
Working with EDI standard data formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.)
Working with core EDI related processes
Transformation EDI, XML, SAP IDoc, delimited and positional data formats using Sterling B2B Integrator mapping tools
Development and troubleshooting of Sterling B2B Integrator business processes using BPML and XPath using IBM Graphical Process Modeling tool (GPM) or text editor
Implementation of B2B/EDI connectivity for B2B or A2A integrations with Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway using industry-standard communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, HTTP/S FTP, FTP/S, OFTP, OFTP2
Java programming experience
Proficiency with Linux OS and shell scripting
Familiarity with SAP EDI integration and related SAP screens and functionality
Experience using Splunk or other similar log management tools
Experience with IBM Sterling Secure Proxy and IBM Sterling Control Center configuration
Familiarity with System Integration Architects (SIA) Framework Manager and SIMon TV
Experience with data encryption solutions (e.g., PGP)
Knowledge of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Suite adapter and service configuration
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to think “outside the box”
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
Strong customer interaction, organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task multiple development and support initiatives
