Microsoft Corporation Windows Support Engineer with French/German in Warsaw, Poland

This is an external staff position. Your employer will be a third-party supplier, in service for Microsoft.

A successful candidate will work within a team of support engineers focused on technical issues resolution for our Premier customers in EMEA. With second required language skill - German or French.

Responsibilities

  • Precise scoping of technical issue and setting the right customer’s expectations

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the shortest possible time

  • Collaborating with peers and escalation resources while working on customer’s issues

  • Provide customers with reliable technical solutions and a consistently exceptional service experience

  • Includes mainly reactive remote support via phone and e-mail

  • Primarily focus on French or German speaking customers within EMEA region and rest of English speaking support

  • Work in a team with other support engineers based in the head office in Warsaw

Qualifications

  • Technical Requirement:Ideally

  • Advanced knowledge in configuring, administrating and troubleshooting of Microsoft® Windows Products including Windows Server 2008/R2/Win7, Windows Server 2016/2012/R2/Win8/Win8.1, Win10.

  • Nice to have

  • Industry experience in configuring, administrating and troubleshooting Operating Systems.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory (Administration\Troubleshoot of Active Directory, Group Policy, AD Replication, Authentication, Kerberos) and PKI.

  • Knowledge of Desktop technologies (User Profiles, Domain Joining).

  • Troubleshooting of technical issues expected

  • Microsoft operating systems fundamentals (Windows Client, Windows Server)

  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP basics, DNS, DHCP, etc)

  • Understanding of main server roles (ADDS, ADCS, Hyper-V, RDS, Clusters, etc)
