In the role you will need to work closely with Software Companies which develop and build Software Solutions, guide them in working with the Microsoft platforms that best match their needs, help their developers and tech teams understand and deepen their knowledge on Microsoft platforms and products of their choice, and build their technical capacity. Your goal: In this role, your goal is to secure the Software Partner’s technical commitment, helping them build their products that the Microsoft business teams can later help them sell to end customers. You are expected to represent Microsoft, communicate our tech strategy, sell our vision and bring these companies along in the digital transformation journey.You are expected to drive adoption and promote long term growth of Microsoft platform and cloud technology, orchestrate technical engagements across applications, products, and solution projects. You will typically manage the technological relationships with our largest and/or most influential Software Companies, as part of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner (OCP) Organization.In this role, you should possess deep Software development skills, solution development experience and technological expertise, with focus on cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

What will your day-to-day look like:- Lead Tech relationships: Build trusted CxO relationships and manage technical relationship with a Managed list of SW Companies and secure technical commitment.- Share broad knowledge of the industry, cloud landscape and platforms, demonstrate technical leadership and help partners drive their business towards digital transformation. - Drive partner technical qualification process and gain/maintain a strong understanding of the SW Company’s business model and strategies.- Ensure SW Company Enablement: Facilitate solution development, working closely with the technical leadership to identify products and solutions for which you will enable tech platform adoption. - Be responsible for successful skills and talent development of SW Companies to successfully provide solutions and services on Microsoft platform. - Identify and address gaps and technical blockers, identify tech opportunities, run Architecture Design Session (ADS), Proof of Concepts, Workshops, Code-with sessions, tech-fests, as needed. What will Success Look Like?- New solutions built by SW companies integrated with Microsoft platforms, that can be co-sold to end customers.- Accelerated cloud consumption and revenue, along with digital transformation through a set of practices leading to workload/industry based co-sell with the SW Company. - Long-term sustainable growth, digital transformation and ensure competitive landscape is addressed. - Business Growth for your portfolio companies, and growth of your managed portfolio list by driving and being accountable for performance as measured by consumption, usage, and adoption.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for…- 5-10 years of related experience in technology solutions/practice/product development in cloud technologies, with project management abilities. - Partner mentality – working with companies in a partnership type of relationship- Inclusive and collaborative mentality – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment - Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners. - Technical Sales and technical account management skills, with customer facing abilities - Deep understanding of digital transformation drivers, cloud platforms, emerging computing trends and their impact on customer opportunities. - Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with CXOs and building cloud consumption share in large/strategic accounts. - Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small technical audiences. - Technical/Engineering BS degree, Computer Science or Math background required.
