The incumbent will be recognized as member of the Batch Production Support team and will be performing mainframe batch support activities, including JCL validation and standards updates, as well as mainframe batch remediation activities in support of the mainframe batch service quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

•Batch Remediation:

oThis person’s responsibility extends to the shared goal to stabilize and maintain mainframe service quality targets through the JCL syntax validation of, and remediation of problematic mainframe batch.

oThe incumbent will be part of the team who will be directly partnering with Citi's core businesses (ICG, GCG, CTI and CTO) to improve mainframe batch efficiency through business engagements to seek solutions to mainframe batch issues.

oBe able to create Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and conduct business engagements with business partners (all levels of management) with ease.

oThis person has to provide mainframe TWSz, TWSz Distributed and JCL solutions to our business partners and internal clients. The incumbent should be having extensive mainframe, TWS scheduling and JCL knowledge and be able to represent Citi when facing the application's technology teams and drive best practices internally, in partnership with other regional counterparts. The person should also possess business acumen and be the ability to communicate solutions to the internal customers of CTI.

•JCL Management:

oSenior Technical Analyst who is able to support JCL Plus+ and the affiliated maintenance batch jobs on all North America mainframe LPARs

oAdvanced role in JCLPLUS tool.

oSystem level perspective.

oBe able to modify existing maintenance batch jobs for JCL Plus+, XREF DBR and the automation routines globally.

oBe able to engage with vendor, SEA for issues that cannot be resolved in-house.

• Mainframe Systems

o Mainframe programming languages (COBOL, JCL, REXX, SEL)

o Knowledge of JCL Plus (JCL syntax tool)

o Knowledge of batch transmission solutions (Connect: Direct (NDM), SecureFTP) for batch transmission remediation

o Knowledge of scheduling tools e.g., IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler

o Ticketing applications - (ServiceNow Reporting, Citi Market Place)

• Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Microsoft Project, MS Access, Power Point, PowerPoint, SharePoint Designer, Visio, Word)
