Brown-Forman HR Director - Poland & Turkey (12 month assignment) in Warsaw, Poland

Job Description:


  • Lead the Human Resources (HR) function in Poland and Turkey

  • Independently manage all HR related matters and projects (People, Process,Culture, Structure)

  • Lead and further develop the local HR teams

  • Be a thought partner and key business partner to the HR Director Europe, Country Manager Poland & Turkey and the Poland/Turkey Leadership team

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization and with the European and global HR teams, e.g. People Development, Compensation, Talent Acquisition

  • Optimize the organizational performance through people development, succession planning and organizational effectiveness measures

  • Drive high levels of employee engagement and make B-F Poland and Turkey great places to work

  • Develop the supply of capable talent through sourcing and on-boarding aspirational talent

  • Enable the organization to grow the quality of current and rising leadership

  • Oversee operational HR tasks

Must Experience:

  • University degree in business administration, law, HR or comparable education

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in HR

  • Ability to build strong relationships throughout all levels and across cultures

  • Experience in leading teams

  • Leading effective organization and culture change

  • Strong facilitation skills

  • Sound knowledge of labour law principles

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing

  • environment

  • Business fluency in English

  • Team spirit, energy and compassion

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in functional areas such as People Development, Compensation or Talent Acquisition

  • Business fluency in Polish or Turkish

  • Knowledge of the Polish or Turkish markets

  • Work experience outside ‘home’ country
