We are seeking for Data Management Specialist CEE, who will be responsible for the support of customers within CEE region on the Becton Dickinson Diagnostics Middleware solutions and related IT connectivity activities. The Data Management Specialist will be involved in the pre-sales, sales, implementation and post-sales support processes such as the initial customer inquiry, lab audit, and proposal of technical solutions during project, system implementation and integration into an IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for the support, upgrade, maintenance and problem resolution and troubleshooting of the Middleware solutions.
DM Specialist will be reporting to the Country Business Manager.
As a DMS you will:
Work on various projects, as defined by line manager
Work with the commercial team to support new implementations by attending IT Audits to establish a clear SOW
During the audit meeting proposes solutions to technical challenges and where necessary escalates to Tier 3 support
Install, implement, troubleshoot and maintain the BDDS Middleware (BD EpiCenter and the next generation) at customer sites
Connect the Middleware to the customer IT network as required; To support/implement the Middleware connections in collaboration with the Applications Support Team
Implement the remote support connection for the Middleware
Use, record, maintain and report all support activities into the service management system
Report all incidents, issues/events using the official complaint procedure
Collect and report the relevant data supporting the improvement of the usage and the security of the Middleware solution.
Ensure that mandatory / regulatory updates (FCA, FCN) or actions are properly and timely implemented
Assist Technical service and Application teams with identifying problems with the middleware as they occur
Provide the necessary data relating to product performance issues to be escalated to European level
Support the BDDS sales team in the country/region during the pre-sales activities such as: IT connectivity questions, lab audits, project proposals and customer interactions
Respond professionally to customer service requests in an accurate and timely manner
Determine appropriate action to ensure customer satisfaction
To support BDDS Software R&D as requested
Perform other tasks upon request
We would expect:
Fluency in spoken and written English and Polish
Proven experience of technical product servicing and repair in a field environment, preferably with experience of working with IT environment
High level knowledge of DataBase Query language
High Level knowledge on SQL server installation and configuration
High Level knowledge of connectivity solutions e.g. LIS connectivity
Knowledge of computer networking
Project management skills
Good customer orientation and problem solving skills
Flexible attitude and ability to handle changing priorities
Team member, willing to act on behalf of team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels;
Degree preferred or equivalent, in Computer/IT/Network connectivity related subjects or appropriate demonstrable knowledge
Degree level education in Biological / Medical Sciences (or equal by experience) is an advantage.
