Join the Group CIO function as a Project Portfolio Reporting Specialist and you’ll be able to deliver tangible value while further improving your skills in a global environment with a world leading multinational financial services holding company. The Project & Portfolio Management team consists of project, program and portfolio management personnel and collectively they drive the delivery of the ‘Change Investments’ largely owned by Group CIO. The team is working horizontally across the Bank to ensure efficient and effective management of the underlying programs and provide support for portfolio execution, governance decision-making, capacity/budget management and risk/value management. You will support IT Providers, Sponsors and Portfolio Managers by providing multiple reports to track financials, delivery, resources etc. You will be empowered by an established and mature global team to ensure that both, the objectives of the role, as well your personal and professional aspirations are met. Furthermore your technical skills, entrepreneurial nature and strong communication skills will be key to ensure a good balance between daily operations and project work.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating reports, insights and analytics in support of the PPM function

  • Performing research and assisting in analysing data related to the division's ‘change initiatives’.

  • Continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the PPM data in order to meet the reporting needs as well changes from the surrounding IT systems.

  • Manage data (extracting, controlling, improving, reporting and analysing) using MS Office and BI Tools.

  • Focus for data quality improvements to support portfolio management.

  • Use analytical methods and tools to validate data for accuracy.

  • Design and develop metrics, reports and analyses to drive key business decisions.

Open to discussing flexible/agile working.

  • 3-4 years of professional experience or 2 years’ experience in data analysis and reporting.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, SQL, VBA (Marcos).

  • Strong task prioritization skills in addition to good statistical and critical thinking skills.

  • Previous experience within IT or You have Bachelor’s Bachelor in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

  • Previous experience with Business Intelligence tools advantageous.

  • Shown analytical skill set with demonstrated attention to detail and problem solving.

  • Superb communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Project management experience/skills useful.
