Position Title Assistant Materials Engineer
Poland - Podlaskie
The Assistant Materials Engineer reports to the Materials Engineer and is responsible for all quality surveying activities with regards to the project. He/ She represents the Materials Engineer in all discussions regarding quality issues in discussions with the Client, progress meetings throughout the duration of the project, and communications regarding all quality matters with Contractors and other parties associated with the project.
And will assist in managing and overseen the planning, design, contracting, construction and acceptance of the entire works on the roads project
Responsibilities will be in the areas of quality surveying / testing materials, sample acquisition etc.
He/she will be responsible for reporting all measures required to control the project quality issues
He/she will examine the RFA on materials of the contractor, variation orders, if any, and will prepare the progress reports as per the project requirements.
He/she will be required to get the levels and quality measurements and testing checked
Specific Skills Required:
Basic working knowledge of FIDIC contracts or similar
Computer knowledge EXCEL, WORD
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience involving quality control, contract documentation management etc.
- Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural etc.) - preferred
