Employee Reimbursement Specialist

Job Description:


  • Scan expense reports bar codes to acknowledge paper copy/ receipts

  • Validate for payment/ reject employee expense reports, in accordance with local legal and tax requirements for countries in scope, within agreed timelines

  • Perform post payment quality check in order to identify operational and system failures and propose process improvements

  • Send payment, booking and accrual details to Front Office partners in a timely and accurate manner

  • Cooperate with Front Office partners to resolve any problems with processing reimbursements

  • Track all received reports in expense processing tool and archive them in accordance with Records Management and Retention guidelines

  • Support resolution of 1st level customer queries

  • Support any and all internal/ external audit requests

  • Escalate observed irregularities to direct superiors

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations

  • Support the implementation of new expense reimbursement processes and systems

  • Ensure the best Total Customer Experience (TCE)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree required

  • Typically 1+ years of work experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Fluency in English, oral and written

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Good understanding of accounting processes

  • Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, SAP)
