Parts & Service are a function within Quality & Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for Reduce “downtime” and increase “profitability” for the bus owner/owners. We are today represented in Poland, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico and India.
Supplier Delivery Coordinator is in charge to manage full scope of deliveries in range of Spare Parts Information from external companies. Drive and lead SPI processes, strategies and team to achieve assigned business plan and project targets, by developing, identifying, establishing and rolling out set strategies to drive supplier quality and delivery performance. Deliveries will be provided by team of 15-20 Technical Editors (Work Package). Important challenge for the role is to secure competence development & broadening, strengthen and increase the teamwork within and outside the organization and to improve efficiency by simplifying the way of working.
In this position you will be a member of Parts & Service Site Board and report to Parts & Service Site Manager.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Deliver Spare Parts Information for start cost, maintenance and Tender/Order driven projects, according to quality, delivery, cost and feature targets.
Break down project deliveries, estimate workload for projects and plan needed resources.
Prioritize and direction setting for short and long term activities
Implement and maintain quality procedures & standards, track operations by PIs
Contribute to development of global Spare Parts Information processes
Administrative activities belonging to group members and needed to control Supplier Delivery
Secure competence development strategy and coach the Technical Editors
Regular and frequent communication to the team on performance, strategies and operations
Secure knowledge sharing globally and drive actions for one way of working.
Required knowledge, skills & experience:
Master degree in engineering or equivalent competence
Experience in leading people
Aftermarket knowledge within the spare part area
Experience in CATIA(Dassault Systemes) and CorelDRAW
5 years of experience as Technical Editor
System and IT interfaces knowledge (LISA, Kola, SAP NBM, KAP, OAS, VDA, VDB) is a merit
Business oriented with a clear customer focus
Holistic view and ability to work cross functionally and build strong relations
Drive to improve our way of working, with strong implementation skills
Ability to recruit and develop effective teams were people take pride in being responsible for their complete deliveries and create a knowledge growing organization
Focus on development of people, operations and product and taking advantage of the full diversity of the team
Strong leadership and communication skills
