We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Sanitation Coordinator to join our Global Research, Development and Quality team, where you will work closely with Plant Sanitation and Quality to develop, implement, and support sanitation, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and pest control program improvements at the assigned manufacturing locations.
You will manage the communication of best practices, implementing policies, troubleshooting and problem solving and support plant activities on specific projects. This position provides the opportunity to interact with cross-functional teams to ensure company programs and policies are met. There is also a strong link to CI (Continuous Improvement), productivity and efficiency initiatives, as sanitation and quality are integral partners in simplification and improvement programs.
The ideal candidate will possess project management skills, experience in quality, manufacturing or Research and Development and familiarity with quality/food safety requirements.
Success in this role will require team work, influencing and negotiating skills, strong technical skills and knowledge.
The role will be based at our Wroclaw site, however, to support program implementation and improvement at manufacturing sites across our business there will be need for approximately 65% travel within Poland and across Europe.
The main duties of this role include:
Provide leadership and expertise for Mondelez Internal Manufacturing plants in implementing and ensuring compliance to Mondelez sanitation policy
Maintain strong links to the Region Sanitation Manager
Provide professional development to site based sanitation coordinators
Ensure site based improvement plans are developed and actioned
Lead continuous improvement through sanitation effectiveness and efficiency across assigned plants
Support and implementation of key sanitation and pest control programs, program improvements, trouble shooting and training
Lead sanitary design through direct involvement with project teams or by providing guidance to plant projects to ensure consistency
Support of Mondelez Sanitation strategy across assigned manufacturing locations
University degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering or other related Sciences
Extensive previous experience (min. 5 years) with a focus on plant based quality and food/product safety knowledge and food technology across product portfolio
Related experience in previous Operations, Plant Quality/Sanitation, or corporate role
Strong working knowledge of QCMS (Quality Change Management System), ISO2200 and HACCP (or equivalent) standards
Understanding of modern quality techniques such as IL6S, TQM (Total Quality Management) and their application in a modern food manufacturing environment.
A proven track record of quality system implementation
Working knowledge of sanitation requirements and ability to implement at a site level
Experience of Pest Management
Strong auditing and problem solving skills
A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
Excellent communication skills and leadership within cross-functional teams, with the ability to develop relationships and be seen as a team member
Ability to apply program and technical knowledge to lead and complete risk assessments such as allergen validations
Ability to develop flexibility to adjust work schedule outside of core hours to support plant and business needs
Good Presentation skills
Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal); additional languages such as Spanish and French would be desirable
