The Business Analyst role will form part of the Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) Infrastructure Cards Projects team based in Warsaw. The role will provide business analytical project / programme support across credit cards projects - regional and global initiatives in the TTS Infrastructure Cards space, working in conjunction with Product, Operations, Technology, Project Team and other business partners. This role will report directly to Lead Business Analyst and then Head of Projects in Warsaw.


  • Execution and facilitation of business analysis activities for Commercial Cards projects.

  • Creation, maintenance and coordination of projects’ documentation

  • Assisting project initiation using standard project management methodologies

  • Creating business cases to assist Head of Projects in Projects Prioritization process

  • Analysys of Business needs and constructing business requirements converting the concepts to technical solutions

  • Reviewing of functional specifications and technical design documents, test cases, test results, quality documents, project plans

  • Ensuring completeness of delivery from a solution and readiness perspective

  • Management of integration of current processes with the changes

  • Providing SME assistance and support to Wholesale cards operations and projects

  • Leading meetings and coordinating activities of the cross-organizational teams

  • Maintaining solid relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders

  • Managing critical issues to resolution

  • Identifing opportunities for process improvements and contributing to department initiatives to implement process enhancements

  • Timely reporting of work stream progress on a regular basis to project stakeholders and senior management

  • Providing overall governance for all key initiatives, ensuring that relevant senior stakeholders are aware of progress, costs and more importantly benefits

  • Establishing and maintaining communications to keep management, stakeholder, and users aware of initiatives, benefits and user information

  • Working with Projects team to ensure that projects are tracked, conflicts or resource issues escalated as appropriate, regular status updates given - weekly / monthly, KPI for project management, related MIS (financial as well as project) are produced as per the frequency agreed


  • Graduate or equivalent level education

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst

  • Formal business analysis training, or qualification (IIBA etc.) or a demonstrable interest in pursuing similar training will be an advantage

  • Credit Cards Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge essential

  • Experience in successful scope management of large projects

  • Process mapping experience

  • Ability to analyse and solve complex problems

  • Strong influencing skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
