Description

Loan Operations in Poland is responsible for administering the Corporate Lending portfolio for London and Western European branches consisting of a combined facility portfolio. Service is provided for syndicated and bilateral credit agreements. The department is also responsible for Facility Agent Transaction Services providing loan administration services for syndicated facilities. Agency team is a group within the broader European Loans Operations department. In addition team handle funds reconciliation process and is responsible for loan related fee collection.

Analyst within Loan Operations Poland, is being responsible for:

  • Monitoring the daily diary for upcoming loan events

  • Ensuring that all events are handled in accordance with the loan documentation

  • Fixing interest and FX rates and advising borrower and lenders

  • Communication of transactional events to borrowers and lenders

  • Invoicing and settling loan related fees

  • Reviewing and actioning all cash exceptions on a daily basis

  • Performing call back procedures where needed

  • Using the Client Management tool to record all client issues open overnight, and ensuring they are followed up effectively

  • Handling audit requests

  • Preparing the reports and statistic for the client request as well as for the team

  • Maintaining the control function in the BAU process

  • Identifying process gaps and escalating them accordingly

  • Performing team leader backup functions

  • Supervising daily processes

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in banking operations

  • Banking knowledge

  • Experience in leadership/team leader tasks

  • Good MS Office skills including Access, Excel and MS PowerPoint

  • Fluent English and excellent communications skills at all organizational levels

  • Computer literate and ability to grasp several in house systems quickly

  • Results orientated with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage and prioritize effectively and resolve conflicting priorities

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously

  • Self-motivated to learn new tasks and adaptive to change

  • Ability to make rational, well informed decisions
