business applications, are looking to recruit a Program Manager.

JOBSUMMARY

TheProgram Manager

will take overall responsibility for delivering an Enterprise Data Warehouse

solution to a Teradata customer, organizing and managing a delivery team of

20-40 people with participation from both Teradata and the customer.

An Enterprise Data

Warehouse delivery program will typically span a minimum of 2-3 years

initially, and will generally enable further business improvement opportunities

through continued incremental expansion of the capabilities of the enterprise

data warehouse.

A delivery program will include

multiple parallel projects and sub-projects.

The Program Manager will lead a project management team and plan,

direct, and monitor the portfolio of projects to ensure successful delivery of

the enterprise data warehouse and ensure that key stakeholders are kept updated

on developments and progress.

YOU WILL BERESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Driving translation ofbusiness requirements into delivery project proposals; preparing projectcontracts (work agreements / statement of work); securing pre-contract Teradatamanagement review and approval; and supporting contract negotiations.

  • Identifying new businessopportunities, clarifying requirements, projects goals, objectives, scoping,activity planning, staff planning, estimation, risk assessment, projectbudgeting, etc.

  • Planning, implementingand controlling complex data warehouse solution projects, using Teradata'sadvocated methodologies (Teradata Solutions Methodology; Teradata ProjectManagement)

  • Managing staffing plans,organizing account and project teams and supervising team member performanceincluding employees, contractors, offshore teams and sub-project managers.Supporting and motivating the project team throughout the project

  • Employing programmanagement methodologies for tracking and reporting on portfolio ofprojects / contracts, and maintaining andcommunicating project status and progress to stakeholders on a regular basis

  • Managing of customerexpectations in line with contracts

  • Establishing qualityassurance procedures and securing timely customer acceptance of deliverables

  • Play key role in projectinitiation stage to make sure expectations are maanged

  • Oversee Project Managersin managing the project budgets and schedules to achieve the defined financialobjectives

  • Personally drive onemajor program / initiative of key priority for customer

  • Providing regular statusupdates to Teradata PS & Sales Management on progress and on any newopportunities that might develop.

  • Contributing to accountplanning and development as a member of the Teradata’s account team for thecustomer, and supporting opportunity identification and customer relationshipbuilding.

Work Environment

  • Flexible to work in anoffice and to travel across Poland when required

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

+ The ideal candidate is an experiencedsenior level program manager with the maturity and seniority to handle largeand complex projects and customer relationships.

  • The candidate must have shown the ability to work in a globalcompany and competitive environment (e.g. consulting or vendor firms).

Professional experience & skills:

  • Extensive experience with Telco / Communications sector preferablyin software applications around BSS

  • Experience in BI related technologies and solutions

  • Proven experience in understanding themechanisms of Programme Management, Communication, IT Strategy and Strategicpartner management in an international company. Experience working with allorganizational levels including C-level.

  • Proven leadership skills , verifiable people management skills (managing some 20 project teammembers).

  • Professional background as Programmanager or Project manager including proven organization and planning skills, analyzingand consulting skills, project management methodology, managing complex ITprojects, preferably in the Data Warehouse / BI space and with contractual andbudgetary responsibility.

  • Project Management “toolbox” experiencewith strong skills, methodologies, methods, and advanced usage of tools

  • Have the necessary computer skills topublish professionally laid out documents and utilize existing projectmanagement and communication tools.

  • Business level English . Teradata’s company language is English and most internal communicationis in English.

Education:

  • B.Sc. or preferably a M.Sc. leveldegree.

  • Evidence of formal project managementeducation/certification is required, e.g. PMP Certification.

  • Strong communication and presentationskills.Ability to communicate easilywith staff at all levels including senior and middle management. An activelistener with a good understanding of the importance of communicating to andwith stakeholders, colleagues and employees.
