MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB (Brief Summary)

Process, analyzes, reconciles and resolves payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing. Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted principles, and local regulations.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (List most important duties)

  • Process monthly payroll for salariedemployees; reviewing and ensuring accuracy of approved changes, update specialpayroll deductions.

  • Builds and maintains relations withexternal payroll provider

  • Reviewing changes for properauthorization and ensuring corporate policies are respected

  • Resolve and investigate payrolldiscrepancies and processing errors.

  • Partnering with HR to ensure responsiveresolution of employee payroll issues/inquiries .

  • Responding to employees with payrollrelated questions as required.

  • Verification of allsalary/commission/bonus data for appropriate signatures and approvals andfollow up on missing information and documentation.

  • Prepare and input all month-end payrollentries for expense analysis.

  • Ensure retention of payroll records asper legal requirements.

  • Prepare or request for funds and allnecessary payments relative to payroll operations i.e. health plans, pension,and miscellaneous deductions.

  • Remain abreast about changes in taxdeduction laws and other laws that apply the payroll process.

  • Reconciles overtime in cooperation withexternal payroll vendor.

  • Takes part in projects in payrollrelated area: system changes, payroll provider cooperation etc.

  • Cooperates in reconciliation offinancial instruments offered as benefits to employees

  • Special projects as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

• Relevant University degree with specialization in Payroll or respective experience

·Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel

·Knowledge of overtime reconciliation

·Knowledge of payroll related and HR administration law

·Experience in cooperation with local authorities: ZUS, tax office, PIP other

·Knowledge of financial instruments and related law.

JOB EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years computerized payroll processing experience
