Middle Office Implementation Expert

The Role

  • Lead system developments and new business on boarding projects across Middle Office Trade Processing Ops Poland;

  • Preparation & analysis of proposed system changes, gathering consensus between business requirements and technology deliverables to assure smooth projects implementation;

  • Formulate project plans that assess resource requirements and timescales for execution to ensure overall project timescales can be met and lead the projects to successful completion

  • Preparation of business requirement documentation;

  • Test new system functionalities in UAT environments;

  • Formulate and coordinate regression test plans in readiness for the commencement of version testing;

  • Report and assign the analysis and resolution tracking of software and non-software defects in the central defect management database;

  • Support Production Validation Testing for new system functionalities and client changes;

  • Cooperate with various stakeholders to effectively deliver projects;

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with Technology, Oversight teams, Relationship Managers and Project Managers, by demonstrating committed inclusion in relevant forums, projects, business developments and service calls;

  • Perform root cause analysis of common processing problems in TP teams;

  • Ensure implemented process is compliant with local and global regulations;

  • Ensure all Team procedures/checklist and audit requirements are updated;

  • Manage client and business ad-hoc queries and requirements;

  • Additional business oriented tasks requested by manager.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated

  • Fluent English

  • 3 years plus experience in project management

  • Experience in or the ability to learn complex financial services processes and systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Outstanding analytical skills & ability to synthesize information;

  • Good team player able to build strong professional relationships;

  • Computer skills; MS Office environment knowledge (excellent knowledge of Excel), VBA/SQL knowledge - advantageous;

  • Experience with Test Management tools e.g. Quality Centre.

  • Effective planning skills, ability to prioritize tasks and to work under pressure without supervision in a complex work environment;

  • Ability to solve complex issues and apply an appropriate risk management response.

  • Process improvement capabilities, ability to challenge the status quo and think innovatively

  • Customer Service Focus - must be able to work with our customers to ensure that we have provided a high and consistent standard of service
