Description

Purpose of the role:

Project Manager within the AML Ops Global Transformation is responsible managing all assigned projects (mainly minor, medium projects and sometimes complex projects in AML Operations portfolio) from initiation to closure.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manages project(s) assigned to achieve a specific set of goals.

  • Defines roles and expectations for those involved in the project(s).

  • Implements project management disciplines for each project, including:

  • Developing and maintaining a structured plan

  • Adhering to the defined governance structure

  • Ensuring appropriate documentation for the projects.

  • Providing regular performance and status reports to the required stakeholders and contributing to status meetings

  • Acting as a main point of contact regarding projects.

  • Organizing and leading regular Project team meetings.

  • Managing project quality, including project work plans and program work plan, analyzing quality issues and implementing continuous improvement activities.

  • Managing risks and issues identifying, analyzing, tracking, managing, escalating, and resolving / mitigating risks and issues that impact the program's ability to meet the program goals and commitments.

  • Monitoring and controlling project financials

  • Monitoring and controlling all changes to project requirements and deliverables

  • Adhering to all mandated Citi procedures, tools and standards and supporting ARR reviews

  • Oversees project delivery plans

  • Manages project interdependencies to ensure successful delivery

  • Manages project stakeholders

  • Active cooperation with regional and global partners in completion of the project

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience of work in the group in complex project environment.

  • Experience in management and motivation of project team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • Project management qualification (e.g. PMP) will be an advantage

Skills and competencies:

  • Knowledge regarding project management

  • Basic knowledge of AML and financial services industry

  • Strong influencing, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
