Description

The Regional Commercial Cards business is approx. 15 years old, has experienced substantial growth over that time period, and now caters for more than 470 corporate clients. The regional EMEA business covers over 42 markets, with significant further expansion underway in 2017.

Responsibilities :

The main responsibility for Customer Account Expert is to maintain, strengthen and grow the ongoing relationship with EMEA based Commercial Card Clients following set up by the implementation and provide a single point of contact for client queries and concerns. Day to day work of Customer Account Expert consists of the following:

  • Frequent proactive client communication. Lead regular conference calls resulting action plans. Schedule, organize and carry on regular client service face to face reviews in collaboration with Account Management/ Relationship Management and other functional areas where relevant;

  • Changes to core card programme set up, structure and processes ;

  • Influence the client to ensure that their programme operates optimally for both them and Citi;

  • Day-to-day issue resolution with key contacts at the client’s organization with an emphasis on resolving the root causes of any issues;

  • Taking ownership of issues and coordinating fast resolution;

  • Create Opportunities for Proactive Programme Improvement. Practice effective continuous process improvement within Operations and with a client to reduce errors, bottlenecks and ultimately, costs;

  • Identify areas to cross sell products / solutions to existing clients and work with the Citi teams to develop these leads

Qualifications

Requirements :

• Fluent French, Italian or German and English or Fluent English

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in business to business customer service, account management or sales

• Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills

• Highly articulate, with influential verbal skills and precise written skills

• Proven business maturity which result in gaining/maintaining credibility and respect with senior contacts at the client

• Strong MS Office and system skills

• Analytical & methodical approach

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and analyze the situation time & work to tight deadlines, strong multi-tasking abilities

• Any experience with card banking will be a plus
