Business Performance Analytics (BPA) Analyst

  • To fully understand the data related to the Customer Care organization and use this data to analyse trends and suggest areas for improvement

  • To fully understand the business requirements in order to professionally analyse and problem solve using different types of data and relationships within business and/or IT systems

  • To support Customer Care leadership with building performance related presentations

  • To build, design and roll out new reporting capability as per Customer requirements

  • Regularly perform logical data modeling, identify patterns in data and analysis as well as design and create reports. Implement initiatives from data gathering to full roll out, including training stakeholders

  • In order to efficiently perform the role the incumbent will regularly interface with other departments including Customer Care, IS, Q/A, Logistics, Credit, Pricing/Contracts, Sales and Marketing

  • To develop successful, long term, strategic relationships with internal customers and suppliers, based on achieving best practice and creating synergistic solutions to our Customers challenges

  • Extensive management reporting in the form of daily/weekly/monthly management reports. Continuously performing statistical analysis of such business data

  • Design and create data reports and reporting tools which assist the Customer Care organisation in their decision making i.e. manpower planning, productivity, volumes and organisation performance

  • To streamline reports through automation where possible

  • Analyse data to identify patterns and correlations among various data points and work processes

  • Mapping and tracing data from system to system in order to solve a given business or system problem

  • Represent the department in meetings and serve as customer advocate when appropriate

  • Constantly improve reporting mechanisms where possible through researching best practices and leading improvement efforts/projects, automation, etc. Learning and mastering both new and existing systems from other areas of the business, as well as rolling out best practices across the organisation

  • Ensuring work practices / processes are SOX compliant where appropriate

  • Assist the Customer Care organization with reporting queries and provide them with relevant data as necessary

  • Lead and participate in Customer Care related projects for all areas of the business as and when required

  • Follow all of the safety standards for the facility and behave in a way and does not put yourself or others at risk


  • Experienced Microsoft Office user, Advanced Excel including knowledge of macros and pivot tables, Access and PowerPoint

  • Proven experience in data entry, report generation, analysis and implementation for management reports

  • Knowledge of SAP and Access as well as other analytical tools.

  • Previous experience of working within a customer care environment focused on business improvements; Lean, OpEx etc.

  • Extensive analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail required

  • Proactive contributor and Customer focused

  • Looks outside the box for solutions, improvements, finding new best practices and implementing them etc.

  • Experience in Customer Service Health Care industry an advantage

  • Works effectively and efficiently within a complex matrix organisation

  • Works well collaborates within a pan-European Business Performance Analytics (BPA) team environment

  • Displays high level of professional competency and models Medtronic behaviours based on our values


  • Educated to degree level in Maths, Business or Engineering or related field would be desirable

  • Polish language skill competency (spoken written) would be a distinct advantage

  • Good command of English language (including written). Interviews will be conducted in English as the common language

  • 2 or more years proven experience within similar role
