EMEA AML Technology is seeking an AML Technology Specialist to support EMEA instances of AML applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for application maintenance and delivery of AML solutions in close cooperation with project managers, business analysts, application developers, testers, L1/L2 production support teams as well as EMEA AML Monitoring & Investigation team.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical support of EMEA AML monitoring projects, including code deployments, UAT support, and issue resolution
Work closely with Production support and ensure projects are appropriately transitioned to support groups with the required knowledge transfer.
Level 3 production support of EMEA AML monitoring applications, including problem ticket investigation and resolution
Manage usage of test environments to support AML projects, and ensure we have necessary hardware resources to deliver projects
Building and maintaining excellent relationships across Business, Development and Technology Infrastructure groups.
Ensure all issues are escalated / documented according to Citigroup Information Technology Management Policies.
Ensure all changes are released according to change management procedures
Provide effective client communication during regular updates or escalate when appropriate.
Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks. Provide significant contributions in the testing and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.
Troubleshoot in an organized fashion, by breaking down issues into components in order to solve problems.
Ensure all processes are strictly followed according to information security policies.
Understand customer requirements and translate into technical deliverable across a wide array of products and technologies.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Candidate must have hands on technical experience supporting projects for a large batch processing banking system
Candidate must have understanding of project management principles, and track record of working and delivering successful projects
Candidate must have good analytical skills, and able to understand business requirements and investigate complex technical issues
Candidate must be highly diligent and disciplined in ensuring procedures are followed, and pro-active in ensuring the team are ready for audit
Good understanding of Anti-money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) practices is preferred
Experience with Oracle Database tools and batch processing systems.
Experience with Linux / UNIX operating systems is essential
Practical skills of shell scripts creation and tasks scheduling using Autosys.
Practical skills of building SQL queries.
Experience in building environments to support project implementations.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with multiple deliverables.
Experience working with delivery teams spread across many countries and time zones.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
The following skills are desirable but not essential :
Experience of the Actimize RCM and/or Mantas AML platforms is preferred
Experience with ETL tools including Informatica.
Knowledge of Big Data tools (i.e. Hadoop, IBM G2) would be an asset.
Experience with application deployment tools (i.e. BMC Release Lifecycle Management).
Knowledge of predictive, statistical, or mathematical modelling, and data mining methods
