Main Responsibility Area:

Plans, designs and executes items in laboratory area. Coordinates activities within own responsibility area. Has developed specialist knowledge in one area. Coaches other team members in solving engineering problems. Solves complex engineering problems of own technology area. Typically participates in reviews of own or neighboring projects. May undertake technical training responsibilities. Works with internal customer being an interface to Business Line.

Required SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

advanced computer use, experience with UNIX systems, experience with Unix/Linux command-line,

knowledge of computer communications networks (network routing, switching & planning)

experience with network hardware (network switches, routers & firewalls),

experience with TCP/IP troubleshooting,

knowledge of Telecommunication standards,

practice with designing and implementation of LAB environment (LAN networks and equipment).

Additional Requirements:

Cisco vendor specific knowledge is a big plus

Knowledge of Cisco Nexus Data Center Solutions is a big plus

Other vendor, product or technology specific knowledge is very valued (Juniper, Checkpoint, HP, etc.)

Analytical approach to problem solving

min. 2 year experience in complex network environment

CCNA or equivalent knowledge level

VMware VCP or equivalent knowledge level

All other technical certifications are also welcomed and highly valued,

strong communication skills, including both verbal and written English,

Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.
