Currently we are seeking candidates for the position:
Internal Business Advisor with German
EY is carrying out a global business transformation which includes a global SAP implementation.
The Internal Business Advisor plays a key role to advise and support our internal client serving teams in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, to make best use of SAP and its processes in order to effectively manage their projects with EY’s external clients.
This is a professional with robust and broad knowledge across the project lifecycle in SAP (contact and opportunity management, account and risk management, financial analysis, reporting and billing), whose role is to provide quick, focused and accurate answers to our internal client serving teams when they need it (by phone or email).
They are connected to a network of functional experts (finance, risk, CRM, SAP) and to the countries they support: they team together to share knowledge and continuously improve the support they provide.
The Internal Business Advisor is also part of a global network of Advisors, who share best practice and are constantly seeking ways to develop themselves, be updated with the latest policies to deliver exceptional client service and further expand their expertise.

Fluency in German (C2 level) and English
Graduate and/or professional certification
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer relationship support required to perform this position
Willingness to develop knowledge and understanding of financial economics
Strong desire to learn and share knowledge
Excellent listening skills to provide focused advice, coming with the ability to apply judgment and seek guidance on when to escalate to a functional expert
Questioning/listening skills, being able to get quickly to the nub of what the client serving team members really want/need: ability to view issues through their lens
Strong desire to help and support people requiring assistance
Self-drive and ability to work with limited supervision
Logical approach to problem solving such that the end-solution is delivered to the customer’s satisfaction
Professional approach, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
Ability to prioritize workload and deliver outputs within strict deadlines
Strong communication and partnering skills with people of all levels of the firm
Highly effective at virtual teaming and influencing skills.
Essential Functions of the Job:
In practice, an Internal Business Advisor:
Provides virtual support to our client serving teams (phone or email),
Teams with them to help resolve their immediate questions while educating and guiding them through recommendations and training
Makes relevant decisions to ensure they receive a response quickly, so that issues are resolved on a one-stop shop basis where possible, and where that is not achievable, escalated to the appropriate functional expert
Responds in writing or by phone to queries in a courteous and helpful manner
Documents all calls, emails and chats into the system providing relevant details of the caller, query and resolution
As part of continuous improvement, the team also:
