Business Controls and Compliance Manager - Internal Audit

Qualifications:

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage annual review plan for a delivery center location

  • Manage capacity of team members and execute the annual review plan

  • Apply subject matter expertise in performing annual risk assessment exercise

  • Lead a local team based in key GDS ES locations

  • Assist the global lead in implementing review process improvement initiatives

  • Support in driving audit methodology and framework in the review program

  • Build domain knowledge & experience, which can be leveraged to drive transformation initiative

  • Support leadership in building best industry practices in enhancing business controls

  • Perform monthly and quarterly reporting to support closure of open items and leadership overview of issues

  • Bring business value through Business compliance & control reviews

  • Effectively engage with local and global team, and stakeholders

  • Proactively communicate the status of ongoing review and facilitate timely reporting of issues

  • Apply industry and domain knowledge to understand the various risk involved in service delivery functions and recommend preventive/mitigating controls

  • Engage with Delivery operations stakeholders through the review cycle.

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Degree at university level (commerce, finance/accounts)

  • English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication

  • 5 years of working in international/corporate environment

  • 3 years of experience in the internal or quality audit

  • Proven experience in Internal Audits with a global BPO or captive shared service organization

  • Experience with accounting and auditing concepts

  • Knowledge of audit standards and methodologies (e.g. IIA)

  • Daily using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
