The position is for a Sr. QA Analyst who are excited about 3D Printingand willing to join us for the journey of building up an optimized/completedsoftware solutions for industry additive manufacturing in Digital ManufactureGroup.
This candidate will work closely with team members in Shanghai andGerman to develop the optimized additive manufacturing solution. The successful candidate must be a strongteam player, self-motivator.
This position typically reports to SoftwareDevelopment ManagersorSoftware QA Manager.
Job Title and Number: QA Analyst Additive Manufacturing
Location: Krakow, Poland
Responsibilities: * Analyze change requests and specifications to create test cases, supplement and improve existing testing where applicable. * Execute tests to find defects in features or products. Isolate and confirm defects and work with developers to prioritize defects and fix them. * Validate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardware * Log defects in database for tracking and reporting * Provide accurate evaluation of software quality and reliability to the team leader. * Participate in team meetings throughout the product development life cycle. Work with the development team to proactively recognize and prevent issues from occurring. Simulate user experience for assigned product features. * Monitor automated tests results and contribute to improve their coverage. * Monitor customer newsgroups and beta forums to detect defects in production software. * Review and test product documentation. * Participate to all phases of the release activities, from alpha versions to manufacturing. * Participate in task estimation process. * Establish testing strategy based on business goals and user experience. * Contribute to a culture of innovation and quality across the organization.
Requirements: * BSdegree required, MS degree preferred, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Materialsor Mechanical Engineering or related * 3 years work experience in software testing and quality assurance. * Extensive knowledge of test concepts, practices and procedures. * Experience with test automation and continuous integration tools. * Ability to work independently, take initiative to solve problems and improve QA workflows. * Experience working with agile teams and SCRUMprinciples * Attention to detail and excellent communicationskills.
- Must have excellent time, task, and resource organization skills and be willing to meet aggressive deadlines
- Must be able to work well with other programmers and existing codebases
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
- Flexibility and ability to respond quickly to multiple priorities
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: * Technicalbackground with extensive knowledge of additive manufacturing is a great plus * Experiencewith CAD/CAM software usage or development is a good plus * Experiencewith Inventor and Fusion is a plus * Knowledge of programming languages for test automation. * Experiencein software performance and security testing.
