Philips Sourcing & Project Specialist in Lodz, Poland

Your challenge:

  • Manage activities within a team (acting as senior), create work schedules and coach less experienced colleagues

  • Coordinate and facilitate projects related to Payment Terms and Price Management

  • Provide systems maintenance and updates (including data entry)

  • Manage operational tasks, authorizations issues in order to ensure reliable and well performing tool’s environment (according to given directions and instructions)

  • Perform extensive 1st line and/or 2nd line support activities

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal/external stake holders and customers

  • Make all required reporting and trend analysis

  • Provide insightful reports analysis and recommendations within the procurement scope

  • Solving escalations and issues related to area of operations

  • Identifying and participating (supporting) in procurement /improvement projects /initiatives;

  • Identify improvement opportunities and translate these as specific project

  • Dealing with service scope changes / amendments

  • Ensuring procurement policies are followed and issues clarified Your responsibilities:

  • Actively support Philips projects/central initiatives

  • Maintain platform used for communicating prices

  • Perform systems maintenance and updates (including data entry in SAP and SharePoint)

  • Work directly with internal stakeholders to ensure data requests are complete and comply with standards

  • Act as the primary point of contact for business questions related to prices and payment terms

  • Support in the development of forms, procedures and work instructions. We are looking for:

  • Bachelor degree (as a minimum)

  • Fluent English (additional language may be required)

  • Communication skills and Customer attitude

  • Team work

  • Strong execution skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Knowledge on programs and systems, e.g. (SAP, MS Office, SharePoint)

  • Understanding of the Philips business and the procurement process and function (in Philips);

  • Self-driven and pro-active, able to work independently in virtual environment

  • Target and quality driven

  • Supply Management Expertise, understanding of the Procurement developments

Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC) based in Łódź, Poland, is part of global Philips Procurement. Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Procurement manages and performs sourcing and procurement activities for (indirect) goods and services for Philips.
