Why does Akamai need Developers in Test?

At Akamai we believe that software quality is built by the whole team. The main goal of a Developer in Test is to enable the Software Engineers to build quality in their code by creating fast, reliable and effective feedback loops that tells them almost instantly if something is wrong.

We think that test code is as important as production code, and should follow the same standards, code practices and quality processes! We believe that both test and software engineers are developers, and that the only difference is in the kind of code they deliver.

If you share our vision and are up for a challenge, keep on reading!

As a Software Development Engineer in Test @ Akamai you will be a part of the scrum team, supporting your colleagues on good quality practices and enabling releases, that are highly resilient, scalable, and performing optimally on our state-of-the-art distributed systems.

  • Be involved in functional (integration, system) and non-functional (usability, performance, security) testing of Akamai’s products

  • Fluency in English

It will be a big plus if you:
