Job Description

Senior Database Administrator

The offer:

We offer you to join Sabre team as a Senior Database Administrator. In this role you will implement and maintain complex NoSQL databases with respect to the following: access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.

You will also include overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design as well as create schema objects in consultation with application project teams necessary to implement database design. As a development path you may take lead role on database projects.

Knowledge of the following is also beneficial

  • Ansible

  • Oracle Environment

  • Oracle 11g RAC

  • RMAN backup, recovery and duplicate database

  • Oracle Enterprise Manager

  • Data Guard and/or GoldenGate replication

Job Requirements


  • Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of NoSQL database management.

  • NoSQL database performance monitoring and tuning experience

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able to work in high pace environment

  • Provide 24/7 on call support on a rotating basis of a high volume OLTP system

  • Good English communication skills
