The Order Analyst is responsible for assisting Akamai Order Representatives with the creation and processing of order forms. The Order Analyst will ensure timely turnaround of orders to Akamai’s Sales personnel while ensuring all orders are complete, accurate and comply with Akamai’s internal controls. The general responsibilities of this position include leveraging Akamai’s order processing systems and policies to manage the entire order process workflow, from the creation of new sales opportunities in Akamai’s Customer Relationship Management system through the submission of executed orders to our Contracts department. The Order Analyst will work closely with Akamai’s Sales team, and other Akamai departments, to fulfill these responsibilities


•Gather information on customer needs from Sales personnel, and leverage Akamai’s systems and policies to efficiently translate customer needs into valid orders for Akamai services

•Assist Sales personnel with the renewal of existing customer contracts by managing the end-to-end order renewal workflow

•Work with appropriate internal functions such as our Finance, Product Management, and Services teams to obtain approvals for non-standard orders, and work with Akamai’s Legal team to draft non-standard addenda

•Work with the Contracts Department to resolve contract issues

•Track the status of in-process sales orders and provide updates to Sales personnel

•Review final order documents to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with Akamai’s internal policies

•Act as an expert for the Sales team on any questions relating to Akamai’s ordering process or policies

•Attend regularly scheduled sales meetings, and address any questions or issues the teams are facing related to the order process

*Provide feedback on future process improvements

Basic Qualifications

•Education: Bachelor's Degree

•Min. 1 year of experience in international environment

•Fluent English language skills

•Excellent communication skills

•Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

•Ability to work in a very demanding and fast-paced environment

•Communicative level of German

Desired Qualifications

•Strong analytical skills, with an ability to present analysis clearly

•Experience using Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system a plus

•Experience in a Financial Analysis or Contract Analysis capacity

•Proficient in Excel
