State Street’s Internship Program provides an excellent opportunity to work and learn about our organization, our culture and how we do business on a day-to-day basis. Our 3 month paid internship program will allow you get firsthand experience in one of the following areas:

Apart from on-the-job training in the area you are assigned to you will join other interns in a coordinated training program that comprises of an induction program as well as a series of lunch and learn sessions that are geared towards providing you with an overview of our organization and our products. You will be paired up with a ‘buddy’ on day one who can offer you their experience, knowledge, and guidance throughout the summer. Very often, interns who perform and exceed expectations will be considered and propelled ahead of their peers in the interview process for full time graduate positions

I started at State Street as an intern in the Fund Accounting department, as I was interested in mutual funds valuation and wanted to expand my knowledge in this area. I gained knowledge and hands-on experience through my day-to-day job, as well as a number of trainings. I decided to continue my career at State Street. I was offered a lot of opportunities to develop and improve my technical and soft skills through interesting and challenging job cases, internal and external projects, participating in working groups and attending promotional events outside of the Company. Now I am a Senior Associate in one of the Fund Accounting teams. I am responsible for managing daily work of my 12 direct reports, cooperating with other departments and participating in different projects across the Company.
