Linux Engineer & Tech Support (Associate)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, debug and assist in problem solving in both development and production environments

  • Performs activities related to the software and hardware release process from development to production

  • Responsible for creation and/or review of application CR’s

  • Work closely with multiple internal groups, which include Development, System Owners, Incident Management & GNOC

  • Support the product operationally in an on call rotation

Job Requirements

Must have skills:

  • Knowledge of Linux environment

  • Experience with Bash/Python

  • Basic networking knowledge

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep abreast of the latest technological advances

Nice to have skills:

  • SQL/Database understanding

  • Service Now knowledge
