At the heart of this capability is the ability to systematically collect, cleanse, enrich and analyze unique data about the companies that we do research on. The Data Wrangling team plays a critical role in this and owns the data transformation processes that enable our researchers to extract insights from our data assets.
Your experience and skills:
creative problem solver with great attention to detail
university degree, preferably in a data analysis related field e.g. statistics or economics or computer science
strong analytical skills
familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or other data transformation tools
practical knowledge of a programming / scripting language (SQL, Python, VBA etc.) is a plus
understanding of data transformation techniques would be an asset
fluent in English
ready to join a fast growing team in a dynamic and challenging environment
relentless in pursuing the design and implementation of the ultimate Data Transformation process
willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done (even if it requires manual work)
able to multi-task, have sense of urgency and focus on deadlines
a team player willing to learn / share solutions and best practices from your colleagues
highly organized with good documentation skills
