As Supply Chain Finance Operations Analyst you are responsible for the execution of month end close for Management Accounting activities. You are also responsible for analyzing the supply chain costs, understanding the variances between plan and actuals and if necessary taking corrective action to enable a correct result. As the Finance Operations Analyst you are responsible for maintaining the link between Financial Accounting and Management Accounting tools. You are responsible to answer any business performance question coming from the different teams within the Supply Chain Finance network. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced all-round accounting expert with knowledge of accounting and SAP. This expert will work in a multicultural team in an international setting and you will be the responsible for the financial accounting and reporting processes of European Unilever Supply Chain Company and continuous improvements initiatives.


  • Analyze supply chain result and understand key drivers behind the results including changes in Commodities for all Supply Chain products in Europe

  • Understand drivers behind the changes in the Transfer Prices, Actual Prices , forecast or actuals and explain these to analysts in the team

  • Enforce checks and controls to ensure accurate and timely month end close activities and accurate supply chain results analyses

  • Analyze existing processes and put in place improvements to drive efficiency, quality and timeliness in supply chain cost analyses

  • Execute SAP Material Ledger, CO-PA as part of month end close activities

  • Perform data quality analysis on Supply Chain costs and align with stakeholders

  • Support the quarterly product cost updates and ongoing cost-price calculation of new innovation products

  • Managing communication of financial results towards stakeholders


  • University degree in Finance (minimum Bachelor)

  • Minimum of 2-years of finance working experience (preferably in accounting, controlling, audit)

  • Shown skills with MS Office (good skills in Excel is a must)

  • Experience in SAP would be an advantage

  • Analytical mindset: capability to analyze data

  • Fluent English
