TE Connectivity Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Analyst in BYDGOSZCZ, Poland

The IND EMEA Strategic Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supply chain simplification, identifying supply chain process gaps and driving improvement projects in order to reduce supply chain cost and improve delivery flexibility towards our customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interface to PM, S&OP, Purchasing, DM, MPS and cross-BU Planning community

  • Analyze existing supply chain processes and identifying process gaps / improvement areas

  • Translate process gaps to smart supply chain simplification solutions

  • Drive improvement projects related to STS improvement, inventory/freight cost reduction and LT reduction

  • Highlight potential non-adherence to IND MRP policy and drive gap closure actions

  • Develop material flow value streams and work with Planning teams to optimize supply chains

  • Monitor and improve the use of supporting systems like Xelus, SAP, JDA and Kinaxis

  • Share best practises with other regions (and other BU’s if appropriate)

Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor degree in supply chain management or equivalent

  • At least 2 years of practical supply chain experience and MRP planning background

  • Previous exposure to TE processes and structures would be a benefit

  • Excellent relation management and (English) communication skills

  • Analytical thinker with the ability to execute on priorities

  • Project leader skills and natural ability to influence people

  • Ability to work deadlines and challenging targets

  • Experience with SAP SD/MM modules

  • Good understanding of cross-functional processes and matrix organization

  • Strong business acumen and good commercial understanding

  • Demonstrated behaviours and values at or above TE standard

  • Flexibility in working hours and travelling

FY16 priorities:

  • Manufacturing lotsize reduction: max 90 days global usage or max $250 excess inventory of global backlog

  • Reduce forecast / SS for Z5xx/Z6xx parts coded ZFRT and drive obsolescence for non-moving parts

  • Global OTE PDR reduction

  • Global OTE STS project

  • Supply Chain simplification through top-down Average Weighted LT reduction
